BIG FOOT?

This is an album I have not published before. 3 years ago we started to notice some really strange stuff going on around the cabin. Weird noises at night strange footprints etc. We are in the middle of nowhere. If you saw a sat pic it would be all trees for miles around us. Only 35 families live on this "hill" and the little dirt roads go off in many directions but only 1 road to get to civilization. 2 miles down the side. I know, I measured it with the car odometer many times. My foot would actually get tired hovering over the brake on the way down and I have walked it halfway. Coming back up is not fun. Anyway we started to see footprints in the gravel in the field Grandmother had put down to stop the moss. There are tons of wild blue berries and strawberries that grow there in late spring through summer. The footprints were gigantic and definitely bare footed. There was one track next to the big ones that looked about the size of my foot if I was barefoot. We just figured it was the bear and her cubs but we had not seen a bear here for over 5 years and someone killed that one. This year we did have a huge black bear that kept going into the woodshed but it left claw marks with the tracks and you could tell the animal was walking on 4 feet by looking at the tracks alone. There have been Moose, always deer and coyotes, porcupines, Fischer cats, stray cats, stray dogs, cows, pigs you name it it's been through here.

 This is my shoe. size 9 ladies and the "x" I made with a big stick. Look at the size of the print in the gravel and the shape!

 These are the tracks after the storm. The fresh print is my husband's size 13 men's shoe. He had to jump, as you see on the left bottom side to get up the berm to take the picture.

 These are tracks after the storm. This was a Bi-Ped. I would have to jump to make the distance between foot prints. I know the wind blowed the snow over the track and makes it look larger but the depth of the snow and the smallest outline is enormous. You can also see where the track turned to look up hill where the house is and then continued on.

 This is coming back off the hill to the road. These were about 30 yards down from first set. The tracks went over half a mile down the road to the other side where the stream is.

THIS IS THE MOST SIGNIFICANT PRINT. You can see the toes and inside the big print is a smaller foot on top of it. Look closely. It is as if something smaller with the same feet was following the big one.

There is a lot more to this story. I will post more about interactions, smells and sounds and validation from accredited scientists, biologists etc.
